Frequently asked questions
Can I join files with different formats or sample rates?
Yes. Every file is decoded and converted to the same sample rate (the highest one among your files) and to stereo before joining, so you can mix MP3, WAV, FLAC, and other formats freely.
How does the crossfade work?
With a crossfade, the end of each song overlaps the start of the next one: the first fades out while the second fades in, keeping the loudness steady. The joined track gets shorter by the crossfade length at each transition. A crossfade is never longer than half of the shorter song.
How many files can I join?
There is no fixed limit. Everything happens in your browser’s memory, so around an hour of audio in total works on most computers, while phones can handle less.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no account, no watermark, and no limit on how many files you process.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your audio is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
Which file formats are supported?
You can open MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, and OGG files, and download the result as MP3 (320 kbps), WAV, or FLAC.
