Classic nightcore runs at roughly 125–135% of the original speed. This tool starts at 130%, and you can go up to 200%.
Why does nightcore sound higher pitched?
Speeding up a recording raises its pitch by the same ratio. At 130% the song plays about 4.5 semitones higher, which gives nightcore its signature sound.
Why is there a bass boost in the nightcore preset?
Speeding a song up thins out the low end. A small bass boost brings back some weight. Set it to zero if you prefer the original balance.
