M.F.S: Observatory have been a constant presence on the scene, via releases for Relief Records, ViVa Music and Food Music, whilst Piem has delivered club bombs for Crosstown Rebels, Repopulate Mars and Sink Or Swim. ‘Tom Plus’ is a rolling, percussive pleaser, a constant rimshot keeping the energy levels unbroken whilst short synth stabs and an effected vocal refrain add some personality to this funky cut. Acompanying track, ‘You Don’t Know’, keeps the jackin’ vibes alive with a nifty combination of crispy drums, low end acid, shadowy strings and chopped up vox. An accomplished pair of tracks here from two first-rate producers!
