Many people have different interpretations of what acid house is. I unfortunately missed the U.K scene by a few years so never got to live it but for me this mix epitomises what I would have wanted to hear. If you were lucky enough to live through the scene then hopefully you’ll find a moment that’ll take you right back to the dance floor. For me the beauty of sets during the 87-90 era was never knowing if the next track would be an acid, techno, hip house or piano house track but you could pretty much guarantee it was gonna be a banger! I’ve tried to replicate that sequence throughout the set. Many fresh edits and a few newer acid tunes are included to spice things up but as always I’ve tried to keep them as close to the originals as possible. Some tunes blatantly weren’t made during the era but fit it so well I just couldn’t resist. With that in mind turn it up as this one’s mixed to make you move!
