Scripture: Proverbs 3:12 Prov. 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Sermon Points: 01. The Lord disciplines His children, the ones He loves! - Prov. 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 02. The problem of seeking wisdom is not a logical problem! 03. Many logical people push a simple person over to foolishness because of not capturing his heart! 04. Prov. 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. 05. Until you have his heart, there must be stronger pressure to get his or her attention! 06. The simple ones feelings need to be hurt because it’s the wrong feeling! 07. In the area of discipline, there is an area that cannot be crossed! - Prov. 22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail. 08. The more you have you’re child’s heart, the less spanking you’ll need!
