These past few months I’ve been dealing with some heartbreak. I discovered gnash from a moving castle playlist from his song “rumours” and fell in love with all of his tracks and how they wrap you up emotionally. The first time I heard the original of this song, I felt moved, and felt like I had to remix this. Listening to gnash’s interview with Zach Sang, he talked about how he wrote “i hate u i love u” after the end of a 3-year relationship. That made me feel even more connected to this remix I had created, because I was fresh out of a 3-year relationship…. Enough with the sadness though, these past few months have been a combination of a one huge low, and yet massive highs. I’ve played shows with friends in the crowd supporting me. I’ve met amazing individuals and have been able to create music I feel can connect with people. I elevated myself out of sadness with the help of my friends/family to become a more well-rounded, creative and loving individual. I feel more like myself than I have ever been. Music has been a creative outlet for me to wrap emotions all up, and share them. Thank you to everyone who has known me on this small little musical journey of mine.
