Loner Tennis Club - Deck7 (Absent Ink Remix)
by Absent Ink
About this track
Loner Tennis Club's "Deck 7" began as a maritime allegory about momentum that can't be stopped. A container ship ploughs on through a worsening storm, bound by the demands of global supply chains, refusing to slow or change course, until its upper platform, Deck 7, gives way and sends its cargo into the dark below. For the remix, Absent Ink pulls that darkness to the surface. The rework pushes the track into UK garage with a heavier, bass-driven low end and broken drums, holding a hypnotic, late-night tension until an acid line surfaces on the final drop, as the deck is finally giving in. Loner Tennis Club is an electronic duo from Italy. Their live sets merge the dreamlike essence of electronica with the raw energy of garage basslines and breakbeat rhythms. From the project's inception, the duo has carved out their own sonic path, staying detached from fleeting trends to craft a live experience that embodies their unique vision of club culture. https://soundcloud.com/lonertennisclub Absent Ink is an artist and producer based in London.
