Ah here, come here, I tell ye a story, ye BEAUTIFUL Bunch! ✨ It's WEEK 71 of THE DISCO WALTONS MIX SESSIONS! This week we're heading over to Derry to catch up with the quiet, shy boy himself... DOC75 🎧 Well... that's what he wants you to think. The little rascal wasn't always so shy. No siry Jim. In the early days, he was strumming that banjo and thwacking away like there was no tomorrow. Little birds have told us he grew up on good old country music, so we're assuming that's where the rhythm came from. Still to this day, hear a catchy tune and just watch him... hands in the pockets... see the fingers moving... it's that banjo again. 🤠 Music is in the blood. You can't get rid of it that easy. It's clearly good stock. Catch him live spinning in Sandino's and the likes, then when he's not out gigging or doing guest mixes, you'll catch Doc mostly online on da UTube (@doc75). Saturday nights are his thing, playing till all hours the legs will allow him. We only ever get an overhead shot, but you can tell the little legs are giving a proper jig in the after party vibes. Playing everything and anything, and hearing them tunes you wouldn't normally hear on your standard radio show. The fight is in us all... THE FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO PARTY! And to stay awake as long as Doc is playing. Also, as you battle with the keyboard half cut, trying to type into the tiny chat box, while you side eye and stare into the chewing gum for the eyes quirky graphics paired with montages of yesteryear dancers, we absolutely love it. It's silly o'clock in the morning, the after party is in full swing, with audience participation always keeping check on him. Roll calls of familiar heads from all over, different time zones popping in to say hello, & showing there love, Doc carrying on playing until everyone has had their quota. From chuggin' chunes to chewy chew'ns, Doc's got them all tucked away in the vaults. Tonight, he's letting the squelchies and golden nuggets out of his pockets for everyone to see... We're expecting plenty of twists and turns, even a few hidden tricks from the arse pocket, leaving us wondering exactly where the hell that tune came from.
