About this track

“Sally” is a sexy fun, seductive cautionary tale wrapped in Southern psychedelic soul and six layers of guitar. She looks like comfort at first like porch swings, warm light, soft hands, an easy smile but by the time you realize there’s a web around you, it’s already too late. Built from a six-guitar track, the song turns Sally into something almost mythic: part girl-next-door, part spider, part memory you know you should leave alone but somehow can’t. It’s about attraction, danger, wasted youth, and the kind of person who can make a trap feel like home.
