About this track
Here is my cover of Black Label Societys' 'In This River' dedicated by Zakk Wylde to his best mate and childhood friend Dimebag Darrell, tragically murdered in 2004. 😥 💔 My friends and I couldn't believe the news, tragic, so talented RIP DIME AND VINNIE The chord progression is in line with the live doom trooper version from years ago when Zakk was still drinking and doing other stuff. The most powerful display of this song I've ever seen. Pure passion and emotion, and well talent. The performance blew me away, I was living opposite Essenwood Park Durban at the time. must have been 2014. My wife was taken aback and certainly not Metal fan. She has become to love Zakks music. This is my take and my own dedication, hope you like it..and hey PLAY IT LOUD !!! 🎸 🤘 🔥 💣 #Heavymetal #BackLabelSociety #ZakkWylde #DimeBagDarrell #Pantera #Cover #InThisRiver #Southernmetal #Southernsludge #HardRock #Slash #Shred #VoxWah #bossbr80 #DamagePlan #2004 #RIPDIMEANDVINNIE ***LYRICS*** I've been around this world, yet I see no end All shall fade to black again and again This storm that's broken me, my only friend, yeah In this river, all shall fade to black In this river, ain't no coming back In this river, all shall fade to black Ain't no coming back Withdrawn a step away just to find myself The door is closed again, the only one left This storm that's broken me, my only friend, yeah In this river, all shall fade to black In this river, ain't no coming back In this river, all shall fade to black Ain't no coming back In this river, all shall fade to black In this river, ain't no coming back In this river, all shall fade to black In this river, all shall fade to black In this river, ain't no coming back In this river, all shall fade to black Aint coming back!
