Cougar - Mental Rodeo
About this track
"Warsaw appears distorted like an impossible western movie. Cowboy banjos, blazing brass and vintage samples gallop across French House grooves and classic Chicago energy. The club becomes a futuristic cantina lost somewhere between Poland and Mexico, where love can feel like an embrace... or an emotional stampede impossible to control. Everything spins too fast and yet nobody wants to leave this mental rodeo." *** BIO: Warsaw-based DJ and producer whose sets move between disco, house, UK garage and electro, drawing on the energy of the ’90s and early 2000s. Driven by energetic synths, infectious melodies and euphoric vintage vocals, her sound is both nostalgic and sharply dancefloor-focused. Radio host at Polish Radio Four, formerly behind “Groovoterapia” on Radio Kampus, and co-founder of the San Junipero Girls Crew, a collective shaping Warsaw’s queer electronic scene between 2019 and 2022. As a producer, she reworks classic Polish disco cuts and collaborates with emerging alternative artists. Her debut single “Heatwave” was released via Pets Recordings as part of a compilation highlighting Polish LGBTQ musicians. *** HoO MIX #141 - Back to the Roots https://soundcloud.com/otherstothefront/house-of-others-141 Follow: @miss-cougar *** Album: HoO Vol.3 Catalog Nº: OTTF005-HOO3 Mastering: @lanasaints Design: Myrto O'Sullivan Curator: @Materia_Hache
