Paint The Beast In Me
About this track
I haven't been making much new music lately. So until I do here's an unreleased oldie from 2022 (Left off my album: Strange Compulsions). Thanks for listening. From the Album: A Shade Structure Album (October 2026) Lyrics: You and me We shared the same disease Too much inner monologue Yeah, I thought I saw you there From the past At the party You were holding a cup of coffee You looked comfortable within the air And to be fair If you still care I no longer question true beauty... She lifts her paint brush up For my close up Let the truth begin Reveal the life beneath my skin She paints all my darkest arts She takes me down where the magic goes Her paintings reveal the flaws And where the magic glows She sat me down to paint a portrait of me She said it would reveal everything about my personality It would reveal the beast in me Could you paint the beast in me? Paint the beast in me Will I be your masterpiece?
