About this track

The suite in four parts made out of a full continuous recording of Lviv Train Station, captured on 12/10/2024, combined with original score for string ensemble in the first and the fourth part, lo-fi piano and vocal improvisation in the second and the third part. 
 A train station is a place of farewells and final embraces before physical distance separates people. Its soundscape becomes a symphony of goodbyes, tears and widening distances. But beneath this painful physicality, there is something deeper: a touch, a glance, an embrace. Even as the train departs, one must believe there will be another “next time”.
