ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhqY6T8rQ68 Happy 11th Undertale Anniversary! You’ll probably notice right away this song is pretty different from what I usually make. I’ve always wanted to try making a full jazz track and I’m really glad I finally did! The main inspiration came from the music video "She Wants Me Dead" by Cazzette, which also inspired the title. I also referenced "Ballad of Addicts" for some of the main sections. I really wanted this song to feel like a noir detective film, especially with the style of the artwork. I tried to lean into my already somewhat jazzy style by adding stuff like saxophones, trumpets, an upright bass, and just a more moody vibe overall. I think everything came together really well.
