About this track
Its taking me some time to process DJ Dan's @djdanmusic passing. I'm still in shock and disbelief he's gone. I didn't know Dan personally but I felt like I did because every time I saw him play, he made a connection with me on the dance floor. If you were from the PLUR-era raver days, you know DJ Dan is the OG! Dan has been a big inspiration to me in my recent return to the dj booth. His presence and music will be so so missed. I feel honored to have shared space with DJ Dan. If you've ever grooved or danced to a DJ Dan set, consider yourself lucky, its a true blessing in life. Thank you for sharing your music with the world, with me. You will be sorely missed but never forgotten. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I recorded this all-vinyl set in honor of DJ Dan. Playing vinyl helped me process and cope with his untimely passing. I started with "Music Sounds Better With You" because Dan is the reason why I have this track on vinyl. He played it at the last Organic Party and it just gave me (and the entire dance floor) all the feels ✨ Its such a classic house track that I knew I needed to have it on vinyl, exactly how Dan played it. I had a lot of fun strolling down memory lane making this mix. I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved playing it. Nothing compares to playing vinyl.
