(Alphys reveals a strange syringe). *With this power... *The power of DETERMINATION. *You won't stand a chance. (Alphys injects herself). *Ah-ahh... *Deep... deep in my soul... *There's a burning feeling I can't describe. *A burning feeling that, when I look at you... *Makes me want to tear us both apart. *This isn't about monsters or humans anymore. *This is about you and me. *I don't care how powerful you are. *I, ALPHYS... WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN. --- * ALPHYS 99ATK 99DEF * (In over her head). --- As Asriel tries to stop the human from moving forward, much like Monster Kid, he is struck down. Seeing this, Alphys is overcome with rage at the world, at the human, but most of all at herself. In desperation, she injects herself with Determination for a chance against the human. I kept the formula the same as my Megalovania replacement by maintaining the original song's structure (BAATH in this case) while swapping the melodies and instrumentation. I'm quite happy with the final result! The 3/4 section was especially fun to make, extending Megalovania in a way that isn't very common. The intended tone is a mix of anger and determination, but with less of the "final battle" vibe that Undertale's Megalovania gives. Hope you enjoy!
