White Flower - White Butterfly - (Naviarhaiku - 660)

About this track
The haiku prompt for this: shrine fence — on a white flower a white butterfly Naviar haiku challenge 660, details here: https://www.naviarrecords.com/haiku-music-challenge While the haiku has a clear image and sense of place the interpretation was always going to be somewhat abstract. I started by constructing an evolving drome using VCV Rack then added a couple of additional layers to add detail and variety. The final element is a small handbell rung periodically, this is the only part with any regularity to it's timing. For the final recording I set up the large bells at the beginning then added the other layers, all recorded as simultaneously as a single live take. The Temple bell and small handbell are my own recordings.
