A vocal reworking of “Even”, the opening piece from iiP’s EP E.V.E.N. Built from the accidental sound of a chair movement captured by microphone, the track places voice over prepared piano, vintage piano and analogue delay. The lyric moves through cold light, shadows, silence and dreamlike repetition, transforming the original instrumental pulse into a fragile song. -lyrics- Echoes in the cold light, Tracing shadows through the night. Wait until the colours fade, Resting in the space I made. Nothing lost, and nothing found, Just the echo of the ground. Waves of silence, steps of grace, Finding form in my mind.
