About this track

Reworked version of the final movement of a 2017 piano trio, then called "Overstay," which was briefly released on Youtube and then pulled because some of the movements weren't that good. Piano trios were my first shot at multi-movement works, and this one was an attempt at an arch form piece ("ABCBA" structure) inspired by the formal approach of some of Bartok's works, though the actual musical language isn't like Bartok at all. The original piece was not particularly strong but the finale was one of the better movements, and is presented here in a revised and neatened-up form. The finale itself is also in arch form with a coda. Hope you enjoy!
