a sparse demo of a song i wrote after reading a persons story of their mental health struggles and how they very nearly didnt make it through……..i could relate in a way……….as some of my dear friends could only find the peace they were looking for by not being here anymore……..it numbs the soul and shatters the heart………….peace and cheers for having a listen walk a mile in my shoes when you been so broken, don't know how you'll regain the strength to get up and start livin again when you've felt such pain you thought couldn't be true then you can walk a mile in my shoes when you been hiding from the wolf at the door and you're feeling so low it don't matter no more when you couldn't feel more lonely and you can't shake them blues then you can walk a mile in my shoes so forgive me this time, for what i'm about to do and please dont you try and walk a mile in my shoes when you've buried your best friend, seen things you never should then you can walk a mile in my shoes so forgive me this time, for what im about to do and dont you dare try and walk a mile in my shoes when there's nothing but darkness and the light can't get through then you can walk a mile in my shoes
