I tend to think of Donna Summer as a 70's disco queen, but she had nearly as many Top 40 hits in the 80's as the 70's! "This Time I Know It's For Real" released in 1989, and reached #7 on the US Top 40 charts. This track was written and produced by the super-famous Stock Aitken Waterman team, well-known for working with performers like Rick Astley, Bananarama, Dead or Alive, and Kylie Minogue. As with many remixes, my goal was to make the track a little more danceable and up-to-date, but hopefully still keeping the spirit of the original with its many musical flourishes.
