Ladies and Gentlemen, this song is a protest song against Donald Trump. I have watched with great concern what is currently happening in Minnesota, in the city of Minneapolis – to Alex Pretti and Renee Good I’m fully aware that there will be people who will hate me because of this song and that I might walk straight into a shitstorm. But I don’t care. That’s what freedom of speech is about. It’s far worse to look away and stay silent than it is to look closely, stand up, and say: stop. This song is free to download for everyone. Titel: Not In My Name Verse 1 On the streets of Minneapolis, under siren-colored skies, federal boots on broken pavement, you can hear the people’s cries. They say it’s law and order, just protecting you and me, but there’s bloodstains on the asphalt where the innocent used to be.
