Here It Comes
by Tom Hanson
About this track
Reboot of an earlier song. The lyrics here were written almost a decage ago now: Susan says she's seen the signs And she knows what's coming Says it's in the rhythm of the times And we should be running 'Cause when you see a falling star It's telling you something For too long now It's been lurking in the shadows But look out now Here it comes Is she a prophet or a seer? Does she read the tea leaves? When she says it's drawing near I want to see what she sees For so long now I've felt a shiver in the shadows I can't say how I'm only wading in the shallows But still she calls out Here it comes She reads the writing on the wall I see graffiti Something wicked this way crawls Eludes me completely Been too long now Sleeping in the shadows She sings to me now Is she dancing on the gallows? Hold on somehow When it comes Image by Kai Pilger (Unsplash)
