Perpetual is the continuation of "Perpetuum" (ficticious word) an album that I released in Japan exclusively in 2014. The intent was to strip the tunes down and create more of an atmosphere than being concerned with writing "songs". Though there are some constructed tunes. The other idea was to abandon the damn computron and record everything on my Tascam 388 1/4" 8 trk tape machine. The limitations with an old tape deck were welcomed w open arms - I really wanted to not edit waves nor stare at a monitor all day-soul sucking and I'm just not built for sitting for long stretches of time. Old skate injuries do not take kindly to being sedentary! I gotta say this is one of my faves and hope people will connect with what I was trying to convey. Music is all about an emotional response for me... I hope it resonates with you in a positive way. It's about the journey not the destination.
