As the creative mind and label head behind Camel Riders, Funkamel presents a carefully crafted 13-track body of work that merges electronic production with jazz-funk, fusion, and disco-inspired grooves. The album unfolds as a dynamic musical journey where rhythmic elegance meets cross-cultural expression. Warm, organic grooves and live-influenced arrangements drive the record forward, while dancefloor-focused energy is enriched by vocals in Japanese, Swahili, Zulu, Bambara, Arabic, Tamazight, and other languages. Together, these elements form a layered multicultural conversation that moves fluidly across styles and traditions.
