I wrote the basic of this track few years ago. I do not remember why I shelfed it. Recently I found the demo and when I listened to it I heard something interesting and started to work on it. The lyrics were there (I like to finish the lyrics first). While working on it I also did some minor changes in the lyrics. Well I wrote a bridge and a new chorus. I also simplified the chords. I believe less is more because what matters is find a good melody within the chords. When I finished a new demo I decied to spend money on a female singer and a producer knowing it would make the track to sound good enough. And it did. Exactly what I had in mind. The song is in the key of G major. Not my usual songwriting key. The whole song has only five chords. G major, E minor, D major, C major and D major with F# on the top ot if. I hope you like it.
