About this track
The story of Nikko and Charlie, in the year 2025, transformed into sound and emotion. Every word, every line taken from a long-distance relationship, carried far across the ocean, through fiber optic cables and copper wires, and transmitted over the airwaves, has created something neither of them would have previously thought possible. At night I lie in restless thought, Your eyes — they cast a mystic flame. Was it my gaze that saw it wrong, Or did your beauty play a game? I never asked the things I felt, No time to speak, no time to know. I wished that trust would build our path, But fear kept all my words below. Each day I saw your silent face, And love still shone in every frame. Yet doubts were crawling through my chest, And peace was lost without a name. I tried to hold you close, then back, While love kept burning in the dark. I begged for signs I couldn't read, And lost myself inside your spark. I feared that I would scare you off, So I stayed quiet, held my breath. I needed time, I needed truth — But silence nearly caused our death. I learn through every flaw we made, In every scar, love softly stayed. You swore to me: "This won’t return." I see it now — your vow was earned. You were the light in all my fear, You were the truth I held so near. Forgive me now — the fault was mine, But still my love remains divine.
