Being on a compilation album that isn't KodamaSounds' feels weird, but I'm glad I could contribute to my friends' over at Resonant Union's Xeno-centered compilation. Xenogears being one of my favorite game inspirations, I'm glad I could contribute something to this - although I do feel like a sore thumb in the middle of all of those clasically trained artists who keep doing such great more acoustic & live sounding productions, ahah. I hope you don't mind the frenchcore blasts near the end. One Who Bares Fangs at God is one of my favorite VGM pieces and it was surprisingly complicated to arrange this in a way that didn't feel unnatural, but I hope i managed to keep the enigmatic feeling going throughout the whole song. The techno part was nice, but I wish the psy & especially frenchcore parts were better put out together but for now that's the best I can do. My biggest inspiration for this structure was definitly Laur's Sound Chimera, but turns out there's more to do with frenchcore than aligning intense layers of kicks, ahah.
