At the end of the cavern it traversed for what seemed like hours, the soul was met with a large room lit up by those same crystals that were scattered around the cavern it just traversed. In the center of this room held a large tree, barren and void of any leaves that would otherwise be glittered with such luscious vegetation. As it gazes at that tree, something off befalls the soul. An unfamiliar feeling that felt… horrible. Something wasn’t right here. The soul approaches the dead tree and observes it, noticing a small and faint glow similar in color to the crystals coming from under the bark, pulsating slowly, almost as if the life from the tree is nearing its end. The soul grows anxious, even worried, as it tries to search around the tree, looking for a way to be able to give it some life again. It grabs a small crystal from the ground, hoping that the crystal will maybe share whatever is powering it with the tree, but… to no avail. After only minutes, the glow from the tree dissipates. Its life now passed.
